I highly recommend the Orthopedic Institute of Santa Barbara, Dr Gallivan and the kind and caring staff made my hip replacement surgery a breeze. The pre and post surgery procedures were very well organized which made the process worry free. The facility is very high tech with a comfortable waiting room and the wait times are very short which make it a very pleasent experience.
I will be relying on Dr Gallivan and the Orthopedic Institute of Santa Barbara for all my future orthopedic needs and recommending them to everyone.

My visits to Dr. Gallivan’s office have actually been very pleasant. The waiting period was brief, and the doctor and the staff have all been polite, good-humored, patient, and capable.

I couldn't be happier with my new hip.. in my case I was very lucky to have Doctor Gallivan do my hip recently and two knees fixed. My brother and I both had our knees done and were very pleased with the results. Doctor Gallivan fixed my hip recently and without his knowledge and willingness to help me i might be in a different scenario today. My hip was a challenge for Doctor Gallivan and really difficult to say the least. But he persevered and after a six hour surgery he did something great for me. Knowing this experience it is obviously clear how he can help his patients with more simple surgeries. PS I asked him about how hard my surgery was and he said the hardest that he has done in God knows how many years he has been at it. I fully recommend Doctor Gallivan.

I was taken on time. Information was taken by friendly assistant and Dr Gallivan appeared shortly thereafter. We had a meaningful discussion and treatment was agreed upon. The appointment was friendly, efficient and my shoulder feels great.

Dr. Gallivan sounded like a broken record. Listen more not lecture.I had to wait an hour to get in almost left etc etc.
